Harbor Island, located in the mouth of Seattle’s Duwamish Waterway, is the largest man-made island in the United States.An Electrophysiology Lab Technician assists EP physicians in diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias and neurocardiogenic syncope through support of electrophysiologic evaluations, pacemaker insertion/replacements, ablation procedures, intracardiac echo, PVIs (pulmonary vein isolations), DFTs (Defibrillator Thresholds), & laser lead extractions. They may also support physician in performance of HUT test, cardioversions, and TEEs, and ensure the provision of sterile procedural area and works in conjunction with anesthesia and nursing staff to provide optimal patient care. The EP Technician works directly with the program director and hospital leadership to ensure quality data abstraction, ongoing process improvement, and accurate patient billing.
